JAMES F. HUTCHINSON

(b. 1932, American)

 

For over 70 years James Hutchinson has painted scenes of Florida. His paintings of the Indian River Lagoon, and notably the lives of the Miccosukee and Muscogee indians in the early 1960's, are part of the cultural heritage of Florida. His work was selected to represent the State of Florida for the Worlds Fair (New York, 1964, in 2011 he was inducted into the Florida Artist Hall of Fame.
